Beyonce's Renaissance

This post is going to be about Beyonce’s Renaissance album. This album contains 16 songs for a total of an hour and two minutes. The entire album is a continuous album with each song flowing into the next one. Technically the album is in the house genre with elements that are reminiscent of the voguing scene. Each song is beautifully done with the lyrics representing empowerment, womanhood, and togetherness. Although I only reviewed the studio version, the live concert version emphasizes this message even further. This album ranks a 10/10 across the board. I physically cannot rank each song but I did say my favorite top three.

Brat

  Brat is a very recent album that was released on June 7, 2024. Charli xcx is a B ritish techno/pop star that has been on the scene for over a decade now. The album contains 15 songs totaling a 41-minute run time. Although at face value the album is techno and upbeat, some songs contain themes of feeling alone, jealous ly, and substance abuse. There was a huge build up around this album and when the album cov er was released it caused an uproar around the music community.
